Economic, Energy and Environmental (3E's) Impact Assessment of Electricification of Transport Sector in Nepal

Abstract

This study presents preliminary economic, energy and environmental (3E’s) impact assessment of electricification of transport sector in Nepal using Environmentally Extended Supply Use Tables using MARIO tool. The different scenarios of electric vehicle penetration on value added, import, taxes lost, fuel consumption and end use CO2 emissions are investigated.
