Geospatial analysis of electrification to identify least cost technologies in order to accelerate universal access by 2030 in Mozambique

Abstract
This report constitutes the outcome of a three-weeks capacity building activity on GEP-OnSSET as part of the 2024 Energy Modelling Platform for Africa workshop. The authors collected input data, set parameters, calibrated the model, and run electrification investment scenarios for Mozambique in order to explore pathways leading to the achievement of electrification targets. The results of this analysis are not conclusive, but rather the output of experimentation with the model and thus only indicative. You may contact the author for more information and/or questions about the methodology, limitations, and follow-up activities of this study.-
